Journey with us

"Really enjoyed seeing the growth in confidence of the girls and the privilege of being part of the worlds of our young people"

This programme is possible due to the collaboration within our community: between our schools, girls and their whānau, alongside our inspiring and ordinary local women.

Kōhine (Girls)

We look forward to connecting with year 8, 9 and 10 girls from Alexandra and Clyde and exploring our local wild places together. Please register here and we will be in touch by email.

Wāhine (women):

Our instructors are older girls or women who love getting into the outdoors and connecting with young people. You don't need to have any qualifications, high levels of expertise or oodles of experience. We will train you with a mountain bike or navigation skills clinic, first aid certificate, and help you become familiar with our local wild places. We will then support you to adventure safely with our kōhine, and to have heaps of fun! Check out our Instructor Role Description for more information, and send us an email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
